BAR MORRYSSOM TAPAS
It is a tapas bar. Of those old, traditional and increasingly are harder to find. It was founded over 30 years ago by a train inspector who took the name of a famous cafe in Madrid, which still exists.
Since 1974 it runs Pedro Sausor with his wife and two children, being responsible for the good reputation, which makes many devotees fight for a place in the bar and just get a sunbeam, clumping together to get a table on the terrace.
As is standard in any tapas bar that claims to be, it has a long window with all the dishes exposed.
For years we work with the same butchers and suppliers, and we spend very good deals on quality products. So you can work the price of the menu, giving good genre.
Monday through Friday will find a menu with top-five and five seconds to choose, but the homemade desserts. Mondays prepare cooked, black rice on Tuesdays, Thursdays fidegua paella and Fridays.
The homemade potato salad is the specialty of Alba, while Peter and his sons offer countless tapas and a reference to his native Cuenca with gazpacho, garlic mule driver, morteruelo and zarajos.
When asked Peter who believes that is the secret of the Morryssom is one of the bars of menus more successful on this side of eixample, he answered humbly “the secret is that we do everything with heart, much love” .
At any time of the day you can go to ask a reed, two lids and follow road.
The Morryssom meets all the requirements of a tapas bar, is informal, noisy, always crowded, with a fast, friendly and familiar attention. With fresh tapas, all the day, very well prepared and tasty and homemade menu.
